Cherry Energy Solutions has extensive experience working with schools to help them cut energy costs, reduce carbon emissions and improve students and teachers experience at school. We have installed over 100,000 LED lights across Australia and have experience working with Methodist Ladies College, Xavier College, Northcote High School, Pascoe Vale North Primary School, St Paul’s Anglican Grammar and more.

Cherry Energy Solutions are CEC Approved Retailers who comply with the Code of Conduct, are triple ISO certified and have an extremely strong focus on health and safety in our office and on our work sites.

Cherry Energy Solutions has worked closely with Schools to make sure the installation of solar panels and LED lights meets the safety standards. Some examples of safety measures implemented includes:

Brentwood Secondary College – A strict schedule was put in place to make sure the installation was completed during the school holidays so it would not effect students safety and learning.

Aesthetics

For customer facing projects, it is important for Cherry to work with the brand to make sure the solar installation matches the building facade. An example of a project where aesthetics were taken into account was Cherry’s work with Methodist Ladies College.

MLC sought to keep the panels out of sight from the main road and preserve their classic façade. Cherry’s solution was to  consider the ridge height of the roof and obscure the sight of the panels from the main road.

Learning

For schools, lighting can help to positively benefit student of learning. Examples where this was taken into account include:

Pascoe Vale North Primary School – Cherry replaced the schools old fluorescent lights with LED floodlights and exit lights. This dramatically improved the learning environments for both staff and students.

Northcote High School – LED lights were installed to replicate natural lighting and combat flickering lights to improve learning.
