Global logistics giant Mainfreight were interested in upgrading the lights in their two warehouses in New South Wales to LED.
Across the two warehouses, 583 lights were upgraded. The majority of fittings were old metal halides highbays and were replaced with state-of- the-art 150W Dimmable LED Highbays with sensors.
In both warehouses, the energy expenditure on lighting was reduced by 74%, equivalent to $108,443 and 900,224 kg CO2.
Over the lifetime of the new LEDs, Mainfreight will save more than $896,000 on energy expenditure and maintenance costs.
