Melba Fresh is a Melbourne based fresh produce wholesale company who have been trading for four generations. They have evolved to be one of the leaders in the Fresh Produce Industry through innovation and the ability to adapt to market requirements. Today Melba Fresh wholesale both conventional and certified organic produce and recently started an online business, Melba & Me, selling direct to public.
Understanding the significance of climate change, Melba Fresh were passionate about becoming more sustainable. Melba Fresh spoke to EnergyAustralia, their retailer, for recommendations on reducing emissions.

Melba Fresh on every aspect, from understanding the recommended products to scheduling the installation. The installation was planned during the COVID-19 restrictions in Victoria which affected manpower and safety on site.
The Cherry team kept Melba Fresh constantly updated with changes in scheduling and a COVID Safe plan was established and adhered to, keeping installers and any employees safe on site.
Melba Fresh’s 99.22kW solar PV system will save them $35,516, 126MWh and 128,503 kg CO2 per annum, equivalent to reducing emissions from 64,225.5 kg of coal burned.
