BP is an internationally known oil and gas company that have been operating in Australia since 1919. With long operating hours and high energy consumption costs, BP’s Annerley store was looking to permanently reduce their overheads and monitor energy consumption.
Due to the significant risks associated with working in a highly combustible location, strict and specific Occupational Safety and Health practices were implemented during the course of the design and installation of the solar PV system.

BP Annerley’s 33kW system, consisting of 85 Sunpower panels and a
Fronius ECO inverter for energy monitoring, has exceeded all
expectations, saving a massive 30 tonnes of carbon emissions and 50MWh of energy annually, as well as $5,500 each year.
